Dr. Xolani Mbongozi is a caring and committed Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is passionate about supporting women through every stage of their reproductive health journey. He believes in providing personalised, respectful care and creating a safe, comfortable space for his patients.

Originally from Mzimkhulu, Dr Mbongozi completed his medical degree (MBChB) at Walter Sisulu University in 2006. He went on to specialise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, earning his Fellowship of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FCOG) and his Master of Medicine (MMed) in 2015.

Dr Mbongozi is also dedicated to advancing women’s health through research. He is currently completing a PhD through a joint program with Walter Sisulu University and the University of Stirling. His work focuses on improving the understanding and management of conditions such as pre-eclampsia, especially through studying heart-related markers and blood pressure changes in pregnancy. Above all, Dr Mbongozi strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers women to make informed decisions about their health.
