Dr Maistry is a dedicated Otorhinolaryngologist (ENT specialist) with extensive experience in the management of both adult and paediatric ear, nose, and throat conditions. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Oradea, Romania, and has completed specialist training through the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

She holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCh, SA), a Master of Medicine (MMed), and the Fellowship of the College of Otorhinolaryngologists of South Africa (FCORL, SA). Her training was undertaken at major tertiary institutions, including King Edward VIII Hospital and Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in managing complex ENT conditions requiring advanced care.

Dr Maistry’s clinical interests include general ENT surgery, paediatric ENT, emergency ENT care, endoscopic sinus surgery, and the management of complex airway and head and neck conditions. She provides both elective and emergency ENT services and is committed to evidence-based, patient-centred care.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Maistry is actively involved in teaching and research, with multiple award-winning presentations at national and international ENT congresses. She also participates in outreach programmes aimed at improving access to specialist ENT services.
