Pieter Slabberts is an experienced healthcare executive and strategic leader with a distinguished career spanning over two decades in hospital and healthcare management across Africa and the Middle East. Known for his ability to drive business growth and operational excellence, Pieter has successfully led multiple hospital turnarounds, greenfield and brownfield projects, and high-stakes negotiations in both public and private sectors.

Currently serving as Regional Hospital Manager at Crestcare, he oversees strategic and operational performance, project management, and stakeholder engagement. His recent accomplishments include spearheading the acquisition of the group's largest hospital and leading the design and construction of new facilities.

Previously, Pieter was the Managing Director of Eurapharma Care Services in Nigeria and Ghana, where he developed expansion strategies, executed joint ventures, and led complex negotiations with government and private entities. His leadership resulted in diversified revenue streams and stronger governance structures.

Pieter also held executive roles in the UAE, including Hospital Cluster General Manager at NMC Royal Hospital and CEO of Medeor 24x7 Hospital, where he achieved milestones such as JCI accreditation and rapid operational break-even for new facilities. His career began in clinical nursing and evolved through management roles with leading healthcare providers such as Mediclinic and Clinix Health Group.
He holds an MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Management from the Australian Institute of Management and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt**–**certified professional. A lifelong advocate for healthcare excellence, Pieter is an Associate Member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders and actively contributes to hospital boards and clinical committees.
