Energy security, water availability, waste-management infrastructure, transportation and access to specialised technical services can directly influence our ability to provide uninterrupted patient care.

Crestcare's environmental strategy stretched beyond merely monitoring our environmental footprint, it includes and focusses on making our hospitals more resilient.

Investment in energy-efficient technology, responsible water management, waste segregation and management, environmentally responsible procurement and resilient hospital infrastructure simultaneously protect the environment, improve continuity of healthcare services and reduce long-term operating costs.

Our greatest social responsibility is to people

The Social component of ESG has particular meaning within healthcare.

Every day, our hospitals bring together patients, families, nurses, doctors, allied healthcare professionals, employees, suppliers and members of the surrounding community.

Our responsibility begins with providing safe, ethical, compassionate and high-quality patient care.

But it extends further….

For this reason, ESG should not exist as a separate initiative operating alongside the business.
